Every day i woke up in the morning the first thing i always do is to pray to GOD for letting me see and giving me another day to live. I love God and i have faith in him, knowing that everything that happened or is happening in our life time is happening for a reason. We shouldn't over look things without taking the time to see what it is, Good or Bad. When bad thing happen in our life we'd take it for grounted and over look it, we need to pray to God and he'll make a way out for us like he did for MARIO and his MOTHER. I love reading the bible, like (2 Timothy chapter 3 Verse 16 and 17 ) say that "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work".

Mario you have set a pretty good example for this Scripture. By God giving you the strenght and directions and you were humble AND see things the way God sees it you have been able to overcome your pass and begin a new chapter in your life with the love of your (MOM). Keep up the good work, by you having faith in God and letTing him direct your step everything will goes well for both of you and your mother. If Mario can, do it so can we. we only have one life to live.

I was surprised, touched and encouraged by the May 5, 2008 issue of Jet Magazine that featured this article about Mario. Some how I have the impression that he is as God fearing as he is successful. I have never known him to have lewd or inapropriate lyrics (Lay in my Bed seems close, but I've never seen the video, so I'll leave it at that)

I thought it was relavant that his views on his personal life experiences with his mother was so in tune with what I wrote in an article for teens.

I wrote this about three days ago and published it today. It seems that many teens and young adults are faced with crises and issues that bring the rich, the poor, the Chrisian and the non-Christian on a level basis.

I am proud of Mario for being strong, minded and supportive toward his mother and encourage young people to do the same. I know it seems complicated, but solving issues can become a reality.

I almost didn't pick up the magazine, because, truthfully, I have never bought Jet before. Also, I figured that it might be just another bland success story, or a lot of blah-blah about how much Mario is loved, and his love life and so on.
