"Nikes Fresh Out the Box" I think had excerpts or something from the Isley Brothers. I really liked "Lay In My Bed" and it was written by his production team or something.

I think Mario needs to hook up again with writers like he had on TP, but he may not want to "go back." I noticed that the Isleys wrote something on there. TP had the funk that seems missing in his new stuff.

"Break Something" doesn't seem Mario-ish to me. Like this track wasn't made with him in mind... like I would picture another artist singing this one, IDK. "Love or Lust" is better, I actually like this one. But in terms of growth, I'm still waiting for Mario to blow my mind.

This is quite sad. I wish he would hook up with T-Pain or Plies and do something outta the ordinary (for him). This comfort zone he's sitting in is making me restless and (forgive me) bored. I feel like I already heard him b4 he's even released it. I dont want to listen to the leaked songs cos I dont wanna get disappointed. Reading ur comments is enough for me. How sad.

lol. Yeah he does bring it, vocally, even when the song's production or lyrics aren't hitting it. It's ashame, because I just heard a new leaked Trey Songz "Safari" song that is very good.

Break Something kinda does remind me of "love in the club" but i liked it ok..not like when i heard MFL or Lay in my bed..those caught me from the first sec not so much with this track....Love or Lust like Mya said was a little boring, didn't move me at all...

Okay, even all his leaked tracks weren't THAT good, or very marketable.. Poor baby.

Break Something: no no song. i don't hate but it was hard for me to finish listening.

Love or Lust: i agree. it's better but very mediocore. and i feel like the tempo is a little too slow for this song.

it's tricky sometimes bcuz Mario has such a vocal control. he sings like he knows what he is doing. even when he sings wack songs, it sounds like he is singing decent songs. you know what i mean?

"Love or Lust".... um I was bored. We all agree, I guess, he does his best with mid-tempos and this is okay, not great, not terrible.
