The Right Direction
I consider Mario an intelligent, sensitive, talented young man. That was in 2004. This young artist has surpassed all that by allowing his mother to be helped on a documentary. A man of his age, experience, attributes and stamina has earned that title: man.
Now he is on a cusp.
Which direction will he take with his sexual awareness. Breaking free of the childish mode makes sense, but what does one display to the world to show you have reached maturity?
We must all come to the stage in our lives, if we progress normally, where we discover our sexuality. In the transition some people get caught up in the translation of what maturity/sexuality mean.
The power of suggestion is very strong. With Mario’s new ‘explicit’ song lyrics, his coming of age and the pressure of the burden of his mother’s addiction finally lifting from him; he naturally wants to explore his new found freedom.
The defining question is this: why does society push sexual activity as transition into adulthood?
Let me put it bluntly; Mario, with all the talent, strength of purpose, insight and maturity that God has blessed you with, what level will you take it to? Is freedom of sexual expression and the experimentation thereof the final step of proving your manhood to the world?
I don’t know about society, but you have already shown the world who you are and earned my respect by your long suffering and perseverance. You have helped me tremendously, so it’s only fair that I write this and give you some good food for thought.
You have passed the test of adulthood with flying colors. Sexual prowess can never replace, or be compared with preparedness and maturity. I’ve witnessed an emotional battle between the two.
Sounds deep? It is! Untimely sex causes many people to become the ‘invisible person’.
An acquaintance of mine raved about the beautiful attributes of premarital sex. He sounded convincing enough, but there was a decided hitch.
I like to greet my friends with a hug (most times) and the few times I hugged him, left me feeling cold and hollow. I took me a while to realize that, sensually, he had become the invisible man. A cat generated more warm and depth than he did. His entire life revolved around sex, and it had done him no good. He went through two relationships before and to no avail.
I could take a finger and touch him on the arm and the feel would vanish, evaporate. NOT GOOD!..
How many me have suffered from this subtle malady and broken up with their girlfriends as a result? How many women have broken up with a man shortly after sleeping with him because she could no longer sense him, and because she could no longer feel him, she felt she didn’t love him.
Mario, consider this, in one night, during that special moment one young man can touch a multitude of people with the gift God blessed him with. In that same space of time, he can spend the night with a woman who he may never spend the rest of his life with just for temporary pleasure. Think about it.
Those new song lyrics in your CD may show people another side of you, but that is a side that should be kept under wraps for when you are married. These lyrics deviate from you original course. They seem very foreign to your mission, which was spiritual and cross over in to what is common and carnal.
God has given you the gift of touch without even coming into contact with a person. That is what I call powerful presence. Your song, ‘Let Me Love You’ broke the mode; the article, “The Joy and Pain of MARIO” catapulted you to a spiritual realm. God is calling you. You can answer it?
So Mario, until I blog again, think twice before you enter the sexual arena (that is, if you haven’t already stepped in, I don‘t know if you are simple God fearing or what). keep dancing, praying and touching people. We can still feel you! Thank God for that!

U tell her girls, or him, whatever ur sexuality is. The moral of it all is, as Nita deftly explained to you, there are a lot more secular artists u can preach to, and I'll be happy to point them out to you, shall we start and end with G-G-G-G-Unit! The whole crew will keep you busy the rest of ur virgin life.
Next thing we all know, u be talking about how women are demoralised in secular videos, but before u burden us with that, puh-lease be aware that there are secular pple in this world who do secular things. If in doubt, Tupac explains it in "Wonder Why They Call U B*tch". When u listen to that track, u'll understand why rappers and artists rhyme the way they do. I know u aint got there yet, but I thot I'd do you one better and broach the subject to stop you putting together another essay.

Okay, in the time that you took to write that ANewLevel, best believe that you've not only contradicted yourself in so many ways; but Mario will never see it. So, also in turn it was a waste of breath. Even if he was to read it, why are you so concerned about his life? Be conserned about yours because best believe that whole essay you wrote was inappropriate at most, reagardless of if you were trying to make a point. Here is not the place to do it.

First off what kind of person makes an assumption that the subjects in which we confer about have lack of depth? So instead of casually joining in on the discussion you chose to write an inconsequential dissertation on Mario and his sexuality. Now everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to hand pick Mario out of all secular artists that distribute music world wide to display your opinions on sexuality and premarital sex. I mean come on really. I appreciate the fact that you can intelligently convey your opinions, but to be almost boastful and brash about oneself and display a hint of self indulgence is simply unacceptable on this forum.

i know its not easy seeing someone
change from a boy to a man but

Next thing I know, chick be thanking me for dropping a coment and inviting me to look out for her upcoming book, like WTF!!! Even if I was in solitary confinement, I wouldnt read this or the forth coming encyclopedia. Infact I would strangle myself as an excuse to get out of it.

Actually, I think I like to write most about my sort comings and how to over come them. I will also write to young people about my hard ships and the way I wouldn't want them to mess up the way I did. Gotta bring some depth in here somewhere!

This is some deep, somewhat exagerrated shyt. As much as you "care" about how he goes in life, I think it would be his choice to decide how to live his life. You may be a virgin and decide to stay that way, but neither Mario nor anyone else who has gone the other route is less of a better person.
You talk a good one, but can you even take a step in Mario's shoes, can you do or accomplish a quarter of the things he has done? There's no need for this holier-than-thou attitude, the fact that ur life is not on display and we cant see what you do in the dead of the night does not make you a better person. How many 21yr olds have the heart and mind to be as mature, sensitive, compassionate, considerate, intelligent, etc I could go on and on. He gives a lot of himself to pple all the time, so I do feel insulted on his behalf that you would ridicule him by reducing him to this......if u dont like the profanity in the album, then buy the explicit free version.
I'm sure you bought and listened "Get Rich Or Die Trying" and if you tell me you cant sing a line out of any of 50's songs, then ur a blatant liar!
