Mario's Haven is calling all graphic designers! Can you create a customized image featuring Mario? Whether you use Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, or Gimp, I'd like see what the fans of Mario's Haven can produce! At MH, I'm looking for the next layout and I'm giving you the chance to shine. If you can gather together a banner with at least one photo of Mario in it, you have a chance to have your image be featured as the next layout. Here are some ground rules (it looks like a lot, but it isn't):

• No images with some company's watermark on it
• No images that look like they've been to hell and back - HQ (or something close) please!
• The banner needs to be 750 pixels wide (give or take 6 pixels - no more, no less!)
• Height can be anything as long as the shape looks rectangle-y (which would be something like less then 500/550 px)
• At least one color (other then black or white)
• It needs to say "Mario's Haven" and/or "marios-haven.com"
• Can include MH's slogan: "Your Sanctuary To All Things Mario!"
• Needs to include MH's menu (Home/Mario/Media/Interact/Site/Guestbook/Images) in that order or space to add the menu
• Menu can include an image flip (image change on mouse hover - see current layout menu)
• Be creative!
• You need to make it. I don't want to see something like blingee's name plastered in the corner
• Feel free to add any pieces of Mario's lyrics on to it. Please be cautious of four letter words
• Save as jpg unless you're using Photoshop, then save as psd
• Send image to marioshaven@gmail.com with it you may add any message you'd like to have me put on the home page

Well I think that's about it. If you have a website or something to that effect (blog/myspace page/etc.) and would like to place a respectful credit on the banner, you're welcome to do so. In addition to any credit you'd like to place on the banner, I would place your name and/or any link back somewhere on the navigation (most likely in the Site Stats next to layout) on the site.
