Ur right Kerri, Mario's pauses are a tad too long. He needs to repackage his GO album selecting the best 5 or 6 and then mixing it up with the a few new stuff he's got. Chris is doing it, Rihanna is doing it. For goodness sake Mario, I hate to say this, but what exactly is going on?

i think maybe he waited 2 long between albums...i know he had his reasons for not doing another album right away but i think in having that delay people forgot about him...r&b changed up a bit 2 by the time he re emerged with "Go"...and the push backs i'm sure didn't help but to some people that wouldn't make a difference if they don't follow him like we do....if i wasn't on this site i would never have known about all the delays...but i don't think it's his personalty....i think this album did what it was suppose to do and now it's time for a new project..i mean even some of the greats have crappy albums/movies right? (shrubbing my shoulders)....i mean look at Will Smith, i know some of ya''ll saw "Wild Wild West" and if you didn't let's just say that was NOT one of Will's best movie ventures..lol...the best thing bout the entertainment business is that he can bounce back even from a failed album and i think he will!

Hey guys thanks for the tips. So went on Itunes.Okay I didn't buy the entire album(TP), which was kinda of dumb, because I downloaded enough songs on the freakin' thing.
But yay, loved-Nikes (although it's a jacked up song title) , Cop, Loveddddddddddddd Let me love you remix), Directions,How could you, Boom. Ya, I know why didn't I buy the entire album.

Kerry -- you are right. Each CD is going to provide a different taste of Mario's development as an artist, as well as the producers and writers who collaborated with him. Not to mention the fact that "Mario" was done at age 15, "TP" at age 18, and "GO" at age 21. I have only heard two or three songs from Mario so far, and you cannot tell the boy is only 15. His voice is so smooth and deep! It seems that his voice may sound a little higher now, which is strange, cuz male voices usually deepen with age. I love how his voice sounds on TP -- it has a depth a maturity that you don't really get on Go, because even the ballads are not that slow or mellow on Go. I agree with Kerry that he gets more raw on Go and you either love it or hate it.

Mario ROCKS on TP with Nikes, Drections, and Like Me, and those three songs are my TP faves -- I keep playing them over and over, then play the whole thing through. These songs present his voice in the purest form. It is so beautiful.....and I love him!

you know Deli i heard TP first then i got "Mario" and i think some of his best material is in "Mario"...but i agree that you have to get all 3 so you can see how far he's come as an artist...a lot of people don't really like "Go" because Mario got a little raw with it but i wouldn't have it any other way....

Hey Brickhouse: I've been trying to chime on this for a while and keep getting interrupted (by work)!

TP is my JAM! The songs hit me a lot differently than GO. Still haven't gotten Mario yet, but I ordered it from Amazon.com. FYI -- You can hear a few seconds of all the songs on the CDs on Amazon's site, if that helps you decide.

I fell in love with GO first, which made me then buy TP. My favorite song of everything I have heard is Like Me Real Hard on TP, even more than faves on Go (Why and Lay in My Bed).

So, I guess you have your decision to make. I don't think you can go wrong no matter which way you go. M does his d@mn thing on everything....that quality and talent is consistent.

As for Usher's performances loved the first one of "Love in The Club" as for the "Yeah" performance with the "Charleston" feel too it I liked it is was something different and it was entertaining cause I was like WTF. I think when Usher played Billy Flynn in the play Chicago it kind of went to his head, I think he mainly did that for the caucasian audience, excuse me for putting it like that not sure what else to say.

Shannon was better than performance night. she must have been training. it's easy to take time for rehearsal after she and Derek hooked up. i will watch the show as well as So You Think You Can Dance. but i don't think i would vote for someone. i just did only for Mario. this was the first time i logged on ABC and voted like crazy every week. i will never do that again. finger hurts, you know? lol.

Mario was sublime, classy, elegant and just fine on all counts. Not really an Usher fan, so I missed his first song, but the Oh Yeah was a snore. What is he -- a singer, dancer -- what? I don't get it.

Big sigh......................It was great seeing Mario on my tv last night.. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Usher was okay I guess, I heard he was a complete diva though while he was there. Very unprofessional to say the least.

I really hope that DWTS gets younger people on, but they have to stop the hate though. From Mario to Monique to Sabrina, the young ones on this show always get a very hard fime from judges,especially Len. I guess they expects to them come in knowing Ballroom ? which is an absolute joke.

Anyway, mario did fantastic last night. I'm just itching for this Music for Love video. I know it's been only 2-3wks since he left the show but come on release the damn song already. Although, MFL is not played here, I do listen to a buffalo ,ny radio station and they have played it often. So that's good.

I might just buy a Mario album on Itunes. Can anyone recommend one to buy? Since Itunes just drops like 17seconds of a song you don't get a real feel. I'm certainly going to spend money on Mario and not resort to my usual bootleg -limewire. lol.

i hope you all saw Mario's last dance on dwts. he had standing O from all the judges. and the crowd was so loud! they changed the choreography a little to get them in sync where Carrie Ann pointed out they missed it, if you remember. and they were late for the ending in week 7 but it was perfect this time.

A week after R&B singer Mario was sent home from Dancing With the Stars, he recalled going to high school and starting his career in Teaneck and addressed rumors about a romantic relationship with his dance partner.

Q: What was it like when you found out you were eliminated? Were you surprised?

A: I was kinda surprised, but I wasn’t surprised at the same time. I do realize it’s a show and it’s unpredictable. It has a lot to do with who watches the show…a lot of young people don’t watch the show, so I’m not surprised.

Q: What doors have been opened from being on the show?

A: I’ve been approached about doing some Broadway stuff, I’ve been approached about doing some more film stuff, but ultimately music is my love. I have a tour coming up that I’m going to do first before getting into any of that.

Q: What was practice like? How much time did it take?

A: It was crazy. My practicing schedule was ridiculous because I was doing maybe eight hours a day with Karina and then I was also going in and out of town doing shows from here and there. Then when we got to the 7th week when we started doing two dances a week that’s when it really got tough for me. Then I had to really buckle down any really focus on the show so I was doing about 12 hours a day.

Q: What was your least favorite and most favorite dances from the show?

A: My least favorite was the fox trot and the tango. My favorite was the rumba and the mambo.

Q: How did you handle the judges criticism?

A: Handling the judges criticism for me it was a part of the show. They are just as much a personality as we are as contestants. People look forward to seeing what they have to say after the dances. Len’s very upfront and blunt about the way he feels. Sometimes comments went in one ear and out the other and other times it stuck with me.

Q: How was it working with your partner Karina?

A: She was dope. She’s a really good teacher, she’s a great dancer. She helped me to really love ballroom dancing. Before it was like something I would never do.

Q: Was there ever anything going on between you and Karina?

A: Only on the dance floor, buddy. Only thing that went on between me and her was on the dance floor, bringing that chemistry. Obviously she is a really really beautiful girl with a lot of potential of being someone’s woman. But right now I’m not really focused on that.

Q: Who is your pick to win Dancing with the Stars? And why?

A: I want Marissa to win it. I hope she takes it home. She grew every week. Every week she got better and better.

Q: What brought you to New Jersey?

A: When I came to New Jersey, I lived in Teaneck. I pretty much started my career out of there. My first manager lived out there, he helped me get a start in music. I lived there for about three and a half, four years. I went to [high] school in Teaneck. It was great. Different from Baltimore. It was more diverse. I enjoyed it. I went to Teaneck [high school] for about a year. Well, a year and a half. Half of my freshman year and all of my sophomore year.

Q: What was it like?

A: I wasn’t working on an album at the time until like my sophomore. I was traveling all around working on my album so I didn’t really spend that much time in Jersey. There was a lot of aspiring musicians that went to Teaneck. There was a lot of dancers. There was an appreciation for the art there. It was very diverse as opposed to my school in Baltimore which was predominantly black. I think that that diversity really helped me to get along with different people from different walks of life. So that was pretty cool.

Q: Did you go to the prom?

A: Actually, I did. I went to prom with my girlfriend at that time. And we had a great time.

Q: What are some other memories you have?

A: I mean, honestly, I traveled a lot when I lived there so I didn’t spend a lot of time there except in school. All of my memories are right from school. Teaneck had a lot of programs in the school that my school in Baltimore didn’t have. From dancing to theater to the teams – basketball and football. I never really got into sports at Teaneck. I was really focused on academics. That was pretty much it.
