Kryptonite Video Idea

When you see font that is italicized and bold that is signifying the lyrics form the song and expressing when and or where exactly that particular action should take place.

Introduction (the beat at the beginning of the song):

The camera is surveying a bedroom. There are clothes on the floor. There is a woman’s pair of underwear on the floor. There is a bra hanging on a chair and Mario’s pants are lying by the bed. On the night stand is a half empty glass of scotch. The camera zooms in on Mario’s face.

Verse 1:
Mario is lying in a bed. Mario’s phone rings. Mario looks at the girl lying in the bed next to him. He wipes his face and sits up in the bed and answers his phone. Mario is wearing nothing but a pair of boxers. As Mario is talking to his girlfriend on the phone he is putting on his clothes. When the song says where you at the scene switches to the girlfriend at her house asking him where he is. Mario is explaining himself and still collecting all of his things. When Mario says because shorty on the eastside the scene switches to Mario walking out of a recording studio earlier that night and receiving a text from a girl on the east coast. Mario walks into the girls’ apartment and she takes off his hat and throws it; she begins to take off his clothes.

Scene Switches.

Chorus:
Mario is in a recording booth lacing the track Kryptonite. As he sings the chorus there are flash backs of him having sex with different girls on a wall in an alley. The scene flashes back and forth between him recording the song and him having sex with the girls.

Verse 2:

Mario is sitting at the switchboards writing Kryptonite. As he is writing the song he keeps getting phone calls and text messages from different girls. He gets a phone call from his girlfriend and answers the phone. The scene switches to Mario walking down a hallway in a hotel and talking on the phone to his girlfriend. He opens up the door to his hotel room and there is a girl in his room dressed in lingerie with a trench coat on that is hanging off of her shoulders. The girl walks up to Mario and grabs his phone and hangs up on his girl friend. The scene switches to Mario’s girlfriend yelling in the phone hello multiple times. When she looks at her phone and sees that he has hung up she throws her phone and begins to cry. The scene switches back to Mario and the girl in his room he is singing the song in the girls ear and kissing on her the girl pushes Mario onto the bed.

Hook:
When Mario sings I know that you’re my true love he is sitting at the switchboards singing the song and looking at a picture of him and his girlfriend.

Scene Switch

Chorus:
Mario is singing in the recording booth. His girlfriend walks in looking angry. He is singing and looking at her. He walks out of the recording booth and walks over to her trying to explain things to her. She is yelling at him and throwing pieces of paper at him with other girl’s numbers on the pieces of paper.

Bridge:

When Mario sings I want you to be my Lois Lane he is sitting down with his girlfriend at the switchboards, and he is singing to her. He begins to rub the side of her face and she turns her head. He tries to hold her hand she snatches it away. He continues to sing to her and she gets up and walks away from him.

Scene Switch

Rap:

Rich Boy is sitting in a black leather chair with all black on in front of an all black background and a spotlight is on him. He is rapping directly into the camera. Mario is on a black wall standing with an all black outfit on and is dressed with a Superman shirt on. The scene switches back and forth between him and Mario rapping the verse. As Rich Boy is rapping a girl is dressed in all black and she is feeling all over his body. A girl is trying to seduce Mario while he is standing on the wall. As the two continue to rap the verse there are different girls walking past them as Mario and Rich Boy look at them as they pass by. When, Rich Boy says my women so vain and my money so filthy he swings his arm as an action to symbolize that he is finished.

Scene Switch

Chorus:

Mario is knocking on his girlfriends’ door and singing the song. Mario’s Girlfriend is on the other side of the door listening to him and crying. Mario is on the other side of the door singing and breaking down. His girlfriend opens up the door and bends down to the ground to look at him in his face. She is rubbing the side of his face and he is rubbing the side of hers. They kiss. You see Mario say I’m sorry and I love you as the camera zooms out.
