I am very disappointed to say the least about last nights cancelled show. I was so excited that Mario was finally going to be in my city at a venue (the Apollo) where I could actually be close enough to see him and hear him up close, and all right in my neighborhood! I bough my tickets way back towards the end of October when they first went on sale….waited for the 11/17 show to find out it was post-poned! That was bad enough, but I figured, I’d be fine with waiting because I think he’s an amazing singer and I was truly looking forward to hearing that voice in person…only to come once more and find out that the show is cancelled! No show. No new date! Take your money back!
Honestly, I know something had to be involved besides Mario just not wanting to show up. After selling about 1,000 seats (a full house) I cant understand why it happened. I think someone owes us an explanation. It doesn’t take away from you music, but it’s a big let down for your fans and in this industry fan are fickle, and its just not the sort of taste you want to leave behind in people’s mouths. If its your production company, as powerful a singer, and as resilient as you have been Mario in your life over coming obstacles to be where you are today, you should dump those people. Start promoting yourself! Manage your own business. You didn’t need anyone else on your bill but you. Honestly I didn’t want to see anyone but you! Not Trey Songz, and not Cassidy! In this world sometimes the only one looking out for you is you. And from what I’ve read you’re a go getter! So work it out your self next time, your promoters didn’t do there jobs. I didn’t even know about the show, until I happened to walk by the Apollo!!! Can you imagine how many other fans might have missed that the first time around!! There were not fliers up anywhere. They should be fired! But nonetheless, You should definitely plan on coming back to NYC, because you left a lot of disappointed ladies who planned on meeting you (Myself included) back here.

I was in the same exact position with the buying tickets since october at the inflated prices to coming down from school (5 hrs) just for it to tearing up in the middle of harlem...spending a buttload of money...point of the story is i feel you...i wasnt nearly as disappointed the second time because i knew from earlier that day that he wouldnt be there....maybe next time i guess but youre not the only one
yea that is just wrong if the show was "cancelled" that is so unnecessary!! and straight wrong. I would have thought it was "postponed" again and that is what I was feeling because I'd heard it was, but never cancelled! I truly think the show is going to be re-scheduled because Mario is a showman and he don't like to disappoint his fans!! I'm also sure that he will be re-thinking his promoters very soon because he is feeling the necessity to do so. I'm sure he's going to get back at us real soon.
I agree..i was there 2 and i came from jersey..alot of other ladies came from further but like you said if it was his promoters they did a horrible job and yeah he should sit down and reevaluate his staff..and i would have went if it was rescheduled again...but they decided not too..i also agree that they didn't need anyone else on the bill to sell tickets..seeing JUST Mario would have been great..well maybe next time
