This show is amazing. I dont know if you or your mother realize it but the support is going to help her stay clean. Detoxing is so hard many addicts continue to use because the withdrawals are just to horrible. No one gets up in the morning and decides to be an addict. When she was in the kitchen explaining how sick she would get if she didnt use she wasnt exaggerating. She needs this support more than anyone knows. Most people addicted to Heroin or opiates (vicodin, percocets, oxycontin) cannot stop alone. The addiction is physical as well as psychological. This is the most difficult thing in her life and detoxing is only half the battle. Now comes the staying clean part. The cravings an addict gets are terrifying. At times they are uncontrollable. We hear about crack addicts, alcoholics, etc. but heroin is a whole different ball-game. I am so glad people young and not young have watched this documentary and have gained some understanding of this disease. Mario you have the sweetest voice.
